When Life Gives You Lemons | Brittney & Lance

blog-29

A few Saturdays back, I had the pleasure of photographing Brittney & Lance’s wedding. I can honestly say I it was the most fun I’ve had at a wedding in my entire career. From the early 2000s pop in the bridal suite, shades on in the groomsmen portraits to tear inducing speeches and one HUGE dance party in the end. Their day was PERFECT. Here’s a brief summary of their day at the GORGEOUS Keswick Vineyard!

Most wedding parties aren’t as big as Lance & Brittney’s but the more the merrier, right?

Family was SO important to both Brittney & Lance. The relationship Brittney had with both her father and stepfather was beautiful and you can tell in their first look photos with her!  blog-12

The ceremony was a little toasty, but that didn’t take anything away of how perfect it was.

I ask all of my clients if they’d like to do a first look to give them an idea. These are pretty popular with Dads and Brides, but, couples usually are either REALLY for first looks or REALLY against first looks of the bride and groom. Brittney and Lance really wanted to see each other for the first time at the ceremony. Lance’s reaction was what wedding photographers’ dreams are made of. The first look down the aisle was PERFECT.

But with a bride this beautiful, how could you not?!

We ended the ceremony with a kiss, and a prayer and then it was on to portraits…

After the selfies, of course.

This wedding party was huge. Huge but incredibly cooperative. I think the heat was getting to everyone 😉

And the photos of this gorgeous couple were to die for, of course.

After the food was done, we were in for some EPIC speeches. Friends and family came up to bless this couple WHO HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 11 YEARS! The feeling of love was so overwhelming I was about in tears right there with them!

Lance’s frat brothers from the Lamda Zeta Chapter Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. stepped in and started the the dance party! Seriously, I want them to come with me to every wedding.

DJ Rayvon was pretty epic and kept everyone on the dance floor!
